Sound system from Audio Pro in all Synsam's stores in Sweden

Audio Pro has a collaboration with Sweden's leading optician chain Synsam, which has high-quality, wireless sound from Audio Pro Business in all its 200 stores in Sweden.

Everyone who is involved in some form of retail trade probably knows that it is important to invest in the entire customer experience, not least to compete with online sales. Sound and music plays a significant role in this and can therefore contribute to a better store environment as well as additional sales.

A company that has invested heavily in the customer experience in recent years is Synsam, and at the "Management Events Retail Awards" in October 2019, Synsam was awarded first prize for Sweden's best store concept, "Store concept of the year". In connection with this, Synsam's CEO Krister Duwe says, among other things, that "Synsam's focused work to strengthen the customer experience, to make the store a place which you long for and want to be, is what we aim for every day".

Speed ​​and overview

The first Synsam stores were equipped with wireless audio about four years ago, and last year Synsam took the step of supplying all stores in Sweden with speakers from Audio Pro Business.

- It usually takes about a year to install sound, with cables, in 100 stores. At Synsam, it took a month to provide 100 stores with wireless sound. This means a completely different clarity when it comes to overviewing time and costs during installation, as well as much faster ROI, says Ola Grahn, Sales Manager at Audio Pro Business.

Future flexibility

Michael Grimborg, Marketing Manager at Synsam Group, who was named the overall winner of "Sweden's Top Marketing Manager" 2018 by the Swedish magazine Resumé and won the Optician 2019 category, says that it is hard to tell how big impact sound has on the customer experience, since it has to do with a more holistic experience, but good sound is always an enhancer. And the sales figures are pointing upwards.

- We made the decision to install Audio Pro's wireless systems in all our stores, as opposed to traditional audio systems with cables, as it feels like a more modern solution. The stores are being redesigned and flexibility is important. Using cables in 2020 generally feels like old technology, says Michael Grimborg.

Less installation - more products

Since 2012, Audio Pro has installed more than 8,000 wireless audio systems in stores around the world, ranging from small systems consisting of four speakers up to systems with more than 100 speakers.

- In addition to the advantages of quick and easy installation and the possibilities of very easily change the location of the speakers within a store, or move the entire speaker system to a new store premises, one of the more important features with our wireless speakers, is that you get more sound for your money. Overall, our solution is often cheaper, and since the money can be invested in speakers instead of paying for expensive installations, we believe that our solution is the smartest on the market, Ola Grahn concludes.
